Insurance and Billing
Michiana Endoscopy Center accepts most major insurance. We will bill your insurance carrier for you; however, we cannot tell you what your policy will cover. Since your insurance policy and coverage are between you and your carrier, we urge you to contact them prior to your procedure. You will be responsible for any co-pays and deductibles.
Express Scheduling
If you’re over 50 and haven’t had a colonoscopy, take advantage of the Express Scheduling Option at Michiana Endoscopy Center. By scheduling directly with our office, you will be scheduled with a Board-Certified gastroenterologist at a time convenient to you. This saves time and reduces your out-of-pocket cost for the same care and treatment.

The reason for the 5 ☆ rating is because Dr. John Mathis is the absolute best! The procedure itself ...not so much. I was quite surprised to find out immediately before the procedure began that there would be no antithesiologist present and the colonoscopy would be done under conscious sedation. As a pacemaker patient with a low pain tolerance, this caused much anxiety and uneasiness about the outcome. During the procedure I became somewhat aware of what was being done and became very uncomfortable with some minor pain. I have had many procedures done at this facility in the past with very positive results and would still recommend Dr. Mathis and the facility as a whole.
